Pohutukawa Chambers was established in 2022 by Annabel Ives, Jo Wickliffe and Annabel Cresswell. We saw the need for a female-led criminal chambers to represent and advocate for our clients. We take a modern approach towards strong representation in the courtroom.
We are three leading barristers who are paving the way for practicing in a flexible, online and social media savvy climate. We are aware of the race and gender issues which pervade the criminal justice system, and we have the experience and understanding to deal with these challenges.
All of our barristers at Pohutukawa Chambers have a strong presence in the High Court and District Court. All our barristers act in both privately funded and legal aid cases.
